Starting with the roles, responsibilities and activities of a mentor, this season of webinars explores further issues your mentee might experience. Nine short, interactive free-webinars (during UK lunchtime) provide a safe space to develop and discuss your mentor CPD. Suitable for internal or external mentors, come along on the following dates for free learning and sharing together.

The roles, responsibilities and activities of a mentor
This session explores the different schools of mentoring and the roles a developmental mentor and a sponsor can play. It will describe good practice in a mentor’s behaviour and discuss how to agree behaviour expectations with your mentee at the beginning of your relationship.
This session will be less useful for experienced mentors.

It can be difficult supporting your mentee if they are experiencing conflict in their lives. This session will explore how a mentor can be a reality check and sounding board, but also provide models to use when helping your mentee to not just survive conflict, but resolve it.

Hybrid working can be a positive and negative experience for most people. Some of the challenges faced when working at home, include isolation, ambition and discrimination, lack of communication, managing a remote team and poor engagement. This session will explore how a mentor can support their mentee with some of these challenges.
