The CCMS programme is fantastic, and I would really recommend it. I’ve learnt so much in the space of a short time, which enabled me to learn a toolkit of approaches I can use in any given situation – whether with a mentee, or someone I manage or a colleague who needs a chat.

It really boosted my confidence as a coach/mentor while also giving me the opportunity to connect with a wide range of brilliant women through practicing together but also the reflection spaces that the course allows for. It also helped me personally through my own period of change, providing me with some framings through which to reflect and step back.

The programme equipped me with practical coaching and mentorship tools that I am already applying in my work. Learning models such as the Bridges Model for transition helped me better understand how people navigate transitions and challenges. I also appreciated learning techniques like the “magic question”, which encourages reflection and helps individuals identify their own solutions.

Another valuable aspect of the programme was the opportunity to network with women from different countries and backgrounds. These interactions broadened my perspective and reminded me of the value of shared experiences and collective learning.

Currently, I am mentoring student nurses, and the programme has strengthened my confidence in my mentorship approach. I now feel more intentional in how I listen, guide conversations, and support others in their growth. The CCMS programme has therefore not only strengthened my skills but also reinforced my commitment to supporting and mentoring others in a more thoughtful and impactful way.

Coaching is a space that helps a person think more boldly and see more broadly. The CCMS programme showed me that it is through this very space that its true value is revealed — in presence, trust, and deep listening.

I am especially grateful to Lis, whose guidance made this journey even more meaningful.

Participating in the CCMS programme was a truly reflective and enriching experience for me. Through the reflection notes and the conversations throughout the course, I found myself rediscovering aspects of my own thinking and approach. It encouraged me to slow down, listen more deeply, and appreciate the value of asking thoughtful questions rather than offering quick answers.

What made the experience particularly meaningful was the warm and supportive environment created throughout the programme. The guidance and encouragement from Lis and Lydia, together with the wider CCMS team, helped create a space where everyone felt comfortable sharing experiences, reflecting openly, and learning from one another.

For me, the programme also strengthened my interest in coaching and reflective practice, particularly in the areas of financial management, monitoring, and supporting community-driven initiatives. It reaffirmed my motivation to contribute to the work of NGOs, startups, and micro-businesses by helping build stronger financial practices and more sustainable systems.

Overall, the CCMS journey felt both personal and inspiring, and it has encouraged me to continue exploring ways to combine my professional experience in finance with coaching and community support.

The program is amazing. It transformed my approach to coaching and my own resilience. It showed me how to develop myself and others and helped them achieve their goals, think outside the box, understand and support others, and broaden my own boundaries.
I will use the knowledge I have gained to coach my team or even become a full-time professional coach.

It increased my emotional intelligence and gave me access to a community of like-minded people driven by a passion for effective coaching.
