After over ten years of supporting across-organisational mentoring (AOMP), Global Connect is our social-impact expansion. Connecting purpose-led leaders across the humanitarian sector with practical support to grow. Global Connect is built on our deep experience and targets those who need it most.
Coach Mentoring Ltd. has been working in the field of humanitarian mentoring and support since 2015, with the launch of Global Connect being part of our exciting social-impact expansion. This step will help provide mentoring and leadership support to those who need it most, particularly women and leaders working in humanitarian, development, aid and social-impact sectors, including across the Global South.
Access to mentoring and leadership development
Access to structured mentoring and leadership development is not evenly distributed. In many resource-constrained or crisis-affected settings, it is rare or too costly. At the same time, leaders are navigating increasing uncertainty, funding cuts and sustained pressure. Leaders are under more pressure than ever, and many are doing it without support. That’s the gap Global Connect aims to close.
We have already taken the first step under the Global Connect label. In 2026, we launched Global Mentor Connect, bringing together 110 mentoring matches across 67 countries. Leaders who may never otherwise have met are now connected across borders, contexts and time zones. As one recent participant shared:

Global Connect is still growing and currently includes:
- Global Mentor Connect — structured cross-border mentoring to support leadership growth, professional development and wellbeing.
- Global Women Connect — a global learning and community space created by women, for women, centred on leadership, mentoring, coaching and shared reflection.
Purpose-led leaders
What sets Global Connect apart is the experience and grounding behind it. Global Connect draws on more than two decades of Coach Mentoring Ltd’s expertise in coaching, mentoring, facilitation and ethical practice. It is built by experienced practitioners who understand leadership under pressure, and delivered via myglobalconnect.org.
Global Connect is funded through Coach Mentoring Ltd’s social enterprise model. The majority of our profit is reinvested to make these initiatives accessible and subsidised.

With additional funding and collaboration, we could expand access further, reach more under-supported leaders, deepen regional partnerships and strengthen the long-term leadership infrastructure that our sector depends on.
