We are overtly expanding our free Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to target both coaches and mentors. We have many coaches graduating from our PGC EMCC Senior Practitioner and EMCC Foundation level programmes. Both these programmes necessitate a certain number of CPD hours for coaches to attend, so we want to support our alumni with this need. In addition, we also have large numbers of mentors within organisational programmes, which we support.
So come and join our mentoring and coaching CPD community, whether you want to explore and learn with like-minded people, or you are looking to gain CPD hours to record for your professional body.
Webinars start 12:00 (UK time) and last for approximately 30 minutes — there will be an element of interactivity. Please get in touch to chat beforehand, or stay on afterwards for an individual conversation!
Beyond Resilience: Moral Injury, Leadership and Coaching

What might be lost if leaders only talk about resilience, wellbeing or stress – but not moral injury? In this session Anne Kristine Arbon will explore what happens when people are asked to act against their values, witness harm, or carry the weight of difficult organisational choices, and how leadership, coaching and mentoring can create space for honesty, meaning and repair.
Anne Kristine Arbon is an executive coach, facilitator and learning and development specialist with extensive experience supporting individuals, teams and organisations through change, growth and leadership development. Her work is grounded in curiosity, practical insight and a belief that coaching creates space for people to think more clearly, reconnect with their strengths and take purposeful action. Anne Kristine is an EMCC Global Individual Accreditation Senior Practitioner and brings a rich, international background across the humanitarian, private and education sectors.

Developing Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a strategic organisational capability, central to leadership, talent development, engagement and retention. In modern workplaces, EI sits alongside technical and cognitive skills as essential for resilience, collaboration and performance.
Mentoring and coaching are increasingly positioned as powerful ways to develop EI as they are especially valuable for developing empathy, emotional awareness and self-regulation.
This session will look at the developmental implications for mentors and coaches.
Professor (Emeritus) Bob Garvey is an internationally recognised academic practitioner of mentoring and coaching. He is a widely published researcher, experienced mentor and coach, and highly regarded keynote speaker and workshop facilitator.

Coaching in Nature

During this session you will be invited to join Charlotte Balfour-Poole, for a short session outdoors or in nature. While you are there, we’ll work on presencing. The practice of arriving fully in the present moment, through your body and your senses. Most of us move through our days on auto-pilot, focused on tasks and a never ending to do list. This session is an opportunity to give yourself permission to step away, take notice of things around us, and the power of being in nature and outdoors to invite deeper reflection. You will leave with new practices and ideas to take away and use.
Charlotte Balfour-Poole is a seasoned leadership expert, EMCC Senior Coach Practitioner and facilitator who partners with individuals, leaders and teams to navigate complexity and drive meaningful transformation. Charlotte has a passion for the outdoors, taking much of her coaching into nature and outdoor spaces.
